Improvise, adapt and overcome.

It was right after the CHP Officers were issued Handheld Radio Extenders that the following took place. These extenders provided an officer with the ability to have radio communications away from their assigned unit. One way an officer would check for volume control, was to hit the “squelch button”. The use of squelch is much more technical than that, but it was a way to quickly check the volume as indicated by the tone emitted. Like the first cell phones the extenders came with an attached, flexible, rubber coated antenna about five inches in length. It is extremely embarrassing when a radio call comes in while the volume is at its loudest and your in a nice quiet corner of the restaurant, facing the door, having dinner. Checking the volume in this manner was routine.

The Officer in training and the Field Training Officer (FTO) had made a traffic stop on a suspected driver that demonstrated driving patterns associated with Driving Under the Influence. The Officer in training was instructed to handle the initial contact, questioning and any Field Sobriety Testing (FST’s) that may occur. Upon initial contact there was no question the driver had been consuming an alcoholic beverage and was directed to an area away from his vehicle so that a series of FST’s could be administered. There are numerous FST’s at an Officer’s disposal and over time each officer will determine which ones they feel are the most accurate to effectively determine the sobriety of an individual for them to use. In this case, although not the first DUI procedures for this officer, that determination as to which of the many tests available would be used apparently had not yet been made. To the FTO it appeared the Officer in training was in fact going through all the available tests. The FTO had made his determination and didn’t want to verbally instruct the Officer in training to move along in front of the individual about to get arrested. The FTO retrieved his Extender from the holder on his Sam Browne (gun belt), approached the driver and Officer conducting the FST’s. He excused the interruption and raised the Flexible Antenna to the lips of the driver. Much to the amazement of the Officer in training. “

The FTO stated, “Sir we just have one more test and then we will get you under way. Please take a deep breath, blow a slow steady breath stopping when you hear the tone.”

Following the instructions to the letter the driver complied. Because the officers were outside, on the shoulder of the freeway and away from their unit, the FTO had increased the volume of his radio to near the maximum level. So, when he hit the ‘squelch’ button the sound produced was rather loud.

The driver, now with a shocked look on his face, an Officer in training with almost the same look and an FTO happily successful at putting an end to reviewing all the available and accepted FST’s from the manual moved on with the process.

“Wow” replied the driver when the tone became audible after blowing into the antenna.

“I must really be screwed up.”

Like you see in the movies the driver extended his arms, palms up and put his wrists together.

The Officer in training explained, “That’s not exactly how it’s done, but could you place your hands behind your back please.”

It was a quiet ride to the jail facility. Once there an actual Breathalyzer test was to be administered. For clarity the FTO explained this time there would be no sound.

“This machine, unlike the handheld one, prints out the reading.”

The booking procedure whet smoothly and the FTO and his Officer in training continued with their shift.

A decade or so later the CHP would get “Handheld Breathalyzers’.” I’m not sure though that they were as convincing.

BELIEVE

I Believe…

Belief lies within every one of us. In many cases it is right next to hope. It should be based on fact, truth, experience and trust. It can be everlasting, a passing moment, a defined period or visualized in but an instant. If one does not believe in what they saw, when in fact what they saw is the truth, their whole system of belief is flawed. Then there is no hope.

I have personally interviewed numerous witnesses to an event. Not uncommon, say five witnesses with five different recalls of what they saw and believed to be factual. Those gathered beliefs, along with evidence, that which is fact, combined with experience of investigation and interviewing or interrogation then becomes the basis for a determination of blame, blameless, fault, no fault, probable cause, no cause, guilt or innocence. Applying the outcome of it all is not a task to be treated with ineptitude. Something over the last 3 ½ years in abundance.

My beliefs are based on what I see to be the truth, facts, experiences and the trust of the source. Today, one must view, listen, read and evaluate, basically, both sides of the same story. With a concentrated effort, the facts and truth will outlive the hoaxes, fabrications, misinformation, disinformation, and out and out lies. All of which are prominent players in what is classified as journalism today.

I believe journalism is dead. Journalists have been replaced by opinionated writers, talk show hosts, and many who like to hear themselves talk for the sake of viewers and followers to garnish an audience that shares their views. One must sift through CNN, MSNBC, PBS, FOX, Networks, Rubin Reports, and an endless cast of characters that spend 20 or more minutes spewing rhetoric about a 60 second film clip. It is hard to watch any pod cast to completion. It often takes a significant amount of time to find the discussed clip, event or oral presentation without undo rhetoric by the podcaster. One side claiming truth. The other relying on the new tag, claiming “cheap fakes” which now joins the disinformation, misinformation tags. I wish there were more avenues to sample the message or clip without the unnecessary opinions from the sidelines. You would think with all the available technology they could at least get the captioning right. Biden’s “one word” description of this nation literally captioned…”I was in the foot—foot—excuse me, in the foothills of the Himalayas with Xi Jinping, traveling with him…traveled 17,000 miles when I was vice president at the time, I don’t know that for a fact” A one word description. A world leader he is not.

With that…I believe that Karine Jean-Pierre, KJP, prime example of a DEI hire, nothing more, is by far, far, far worth more to Biden than Jen Paski. I truly doubt the Biden Administration could find another individual that has the uncanny ability to not answer a question and claim to have answered it. Paski couldn’t hold a candle to the lies spewed by KJP. Hands down if there was an Academy Award for disinformation, misinformation, false accusations of accomplishments, support for the boss(es) and the ability to distance oneself from facts, avoid and evade the truth, honesty, integrity and basic sense…KJP wins. No competition whatsoever. She certainly earns her keep.

I believe that Joe Biden is by far the worst President to ever hold the office. Without mentioning democracy, abortion, Trump Derangement Syndrome, and $35 Insulin make a list of accomplishments. Prove me wrong. Use the comments section to list the accomplishments made by his administration to aid and support this Republic and its citizens. Educate me about the border, illegal immigration, inflation, national debt, jobs growth (not counting COVID returns), crime, international relations, standing with our allies, or holding individuals accountable for acts of violence and destruction. I’ll wait.

I believe that the Justice Department has already been weaponized. We don’t need to wait for Trump to retake the Oval Office as the left believes that’s when it will happen.

I believe that there is nothing, not one thing, the current administration or the Democratic Party will not try or do to stop Trump from winning. Whether it be fraudulent voting practices, lawfare, corruption, imprisonment or worse. The current Democratic goal is retention of power. Period.

I believe abortion should not be a federal mandate. Each state should be able to evaluate the criteria and provide the laws and guidelines that would dictate its practice. But then, I believe the federal government limitations on the freedoms established by the Founding Fathers should be few and far between. How much interpretation is needed for "shall not be infringed"?

I believe this country has the resources to be energy dependent and eventually energy dominant. Once that is established…I believe this country has and will always have the knowledge, desire, intelligent and driven individuals to accomplish whatever it will take to overcome the manmade devastations that develop as we progress into new avenues of daily living. Where would we be today in regard to 'smog' if not for the manmade changes to curb the manmade pollutant?

I believe in climate change and global warming. Next month I’ll be 78. I have witnessed, on both coasts and in the heartland of this nation, climate change…every year. Not so much so in California, but in Kansas, Virginia and here in Pennsylvania, daily. This globe has been experiencing a warming trend since the end of the last glacial period…give or take 10,000 years ago. Today the forecast calls for a high of 82. The historical average for this date is 84.4. The record high recorded in PA, in Phoenixville, that’s appropriate…is 111degrees…in 1936. Thankfully we survived. I believe individuals like Kerry and Gore should be sent to Death Valley with Greta and quarantined in a double wide together without A/C. Now that would give them something to whine about. We would need to build an airstrip there. They only fly private.

I believe in the Rule of Law and that no one is above the law. Which is why It is impossible for me to comprehend, beyond elitism, why the Clintons, Biden, B.H.O., Pelosi, Schumer, Schiff, just to name a few libs are walking free. The list of Republicans is as long. Rep. Chris Collins, Rep. Gianforte, AG Ken Paxton in Texas. When elected Trump will not be the first elected official under indictment or conviction of a crime. Far from it.

I believe the mainstream media is no more than a propaganda arm of the government. It is hard to watch with any belief of truth, factual reporting and with the slightest of kinship to journalism.

I believe that the ignorance and incompetence of this current crop of elected officials, from the Commander in Chief on down, with just its open border policies alone, has placed the interior of this Republic in more grave danger than the events of December 7, 1941, or September 11, 2001. With intent if the chance of remaining in power was not assured events will occur enacting Marshall Law and cancelation of the election.

I believe that if I were a getaway driver during a bank robbery and during a robbery there was a killing, I would be tried and convicted of accessory to murder. Joe Biden is the driver of the events surrounding the deaths of innocent civilians…he is an accessory to murder, rape and an endless list of all illegal acts carried out by illegal immigrants. Drug and human trafficking and undermining the security of our borders. Where is accountability?

I believe it lies within the boundaries of our government and on the shoulders of those on both sides of the aisle. An elected official, one claiming to be credible, knowledgeable, and trustworthy, pulled a fire alarm…we all know he knew what he was doing. He should be gone. He’s up for reelection. He is campaigning for a third term. If he wins his primary and then in the National…this one thing alone will tell you the direction this Republic is headed. Without question…he is the enemy within.

I believe I could go on…and may later. For now, have a great day, keep believing this great nation will recover and hope the corruption from within our sacred halls is put at rest in November.

I believe the enemies within will be cast out and those that put America First will correct our course, domestically and globally. Hope, not the false hope from 2008, but the hope for 2025. Real hope, real leadership, real actions to make what is and always has been great…greater, stronger, independent and a restoration of basic sense. Basic sense, not common, because lately sense has not been common. It is said that "Duct Tape can't fix stupid...But it can muffle the sound." We currently need a lot of Duct Tape.

Whatever you do or don't do this year...vote. Mail In, Absentee, or at the Polls on November 5, 2024. Here's where HOPE really takes a front row seat. This time it is honestly tabulated. One thing is certain...If Trump wins, it will be contested.

Remember When: We All Look A Like

There was a Lieutenant, to call him a pain in the ass would be an understatement. He defined ‘micro’ management. He wanted the final say in everything. He would do whatever it took to catch an officer in error of a policy or procedure. Severity was not an issue...Off your beat or commission of a felony shared the same value.

On one of many beautiful sunny days in Los Angeles he is out literally spying on the units working their assigned beats. He was observed watching from a particularly secluded section on the I-5 S/B Golden State Freeway by a Motor Unit. It didn’t take long for several units to devise a plan and put it in operation. A solo motor unit positioned himself so as he passed the Lt.’s location he would easily be recognized as a CHP Motor, nothing more. Trust me when I say at this speed we all look alike.

The Motor Officer put the plan in play. He passed the Lt.’s line of sight at about a 100MPH, in military aircraft terms I think they call it ‘buzzing the tower.’ Well it didn’t take long, seconds really, for the Lt. to key his mike and demand that the Motor Officer S/B on I-5 at a high rate of speed, in the vicinity of the Lacey overcrossing, identify himself IMMEDIATELY. Dead silence. His demand was repeated and the radios remained quiet. After several minutes, and several more demands one of the Motor Officers assigned to another Beat offered to assist the Lt. in any way he could. The Lt. came back indicating that he would be too far away to help but thanked him for offering. He would never know the Officer offering assistance was the offending S/B Motor. I mean like the Lt. said,” He was too far away.” It’s a fact, it doesn’t take long to be far away at a 100 MPH.

Coffee, donuts and a good laugh finished the shift.

Remember When: Lessie Poo / Spilled Load

Lessie Poo

This next Remember When needs a little background. In the Spring of 1970, our son had reached the age that Elaine felt comfortable with him on the back of her bike. Bikes, something we purchased together with our first Tax Refund check in 1968. Two Schwinn Super Sports. Elaine finally let hers go in 2020. It went where we went until the move to PA. Rest assured, she has kept and treasures the memories to this day. Today that check would probably pay for the tires.

I was working for Guardian Fence Company in Long Beach, CA. We lived about 2.5 miles from the company’s construction yard and offices. We only had one vehicle at the time and on good days I would ride my bike to work and leave the Austin Healy with Elaine. On this day I peddled to work and that afternoon Elaine decided to take the boy for a ride. She went by the yard to say hello, but I was out on a job site. My bike was parked in the welding shop next to the Employee Break Area. When I returned to the yard and went into the shop my “peers” were all standing around my bike, having a good laugh at whatever. For clarity “peers” is a loosely used term. Several, okay most, were considerably taller and carried themselves on much larger frames than me. There was more than a couple that could shoulder a 50’ roll of 6’ chain link fence, (105 pounds) then pick up another roll with the free hand and carry them where they needed to be dropped and rolled out. It was like working with forklifts.

With my curiosity at an all time high I went over to see what the laugh was. Elaine had left a note. In plain view I might add, “Lessie Poo” stopped by to see you, sorry I missed you.” She might as well have sent the note to the Long Beach Press Telegram for the evening edition headlines. Lessie Poo stuck. At Guardian the construction trucks were equipped with two-way radios. Each employee had a Call Sign. Unit 1 through the junior most employee…at the time I was Unit 17. Until the day after Elaine’s visit. Unit Lessie Poo become the norm. I was with Guardian for five years, The “handle” has stayed with me since.

You are now up to date.

 Remember When: Spilled Load

It was early Sunday Morning on the I-10 Santa Monica Freeway. There was very light traffic and was moving at a steady speed. So, while patrolling and enjoying the ride the Officer was dismayed as he observed slowing traffic ahead and a tremendous amount of debris being cast into the wind by the vehicles passing through the debris. As he approached the debris, now scattered over all five lanes of the roadway, he slowed and positioned himself and his motorcycle to provide some warning to the oncoming traffic of the hazard.

“LA 15-60 Mary. I’m 97 E/B 10 W/of La Brea with debris in all lanes.”

“15-60 Mary, LA., 10-4.”

“LA, 60 Mary. I’ll need Cal Trans for clean-up and several units to run traffic breaks”

“15-60 Mary, 10-4. Can you determine what the debris is and lanes affected to pass on to Cal Trans?”

“LA, 60 Mary, not sure yet, but there are some torn up cardboard boxes that have been hit and their contents scattered in all lanes. Stand by I’ll get one of the boxes.”

“60 Mary, LA standing by.”

“Los Angeles, 15-60 Mary. Be advised the cartons read, using every ounce of professionalism he could muster, “Single Breast Form Foam Fake Boob – Large.”

Looooooooooooooooong Pause...

“15-60 Mary is advising-giggles-he needs traffic breaks-giggles-E/B 10 beginning from La Cienega for a spilled load of ‘falsies'…giggles-another pause-another giggle-…west of La Brea.

Another long pause, some open mike chuckles one inappropriate and unidentifiable "Do they feel real?" comment then more laughs from units and dispatch.

Almost holding back her laugh, and doing the best she could, “All units responding please advise L.A.”

Total silence…

“Lessie Poo, be advised once they stop laughing and regain composure they’ll be on their way.” “Thanks for making our Sunday morning, 15-60 Mary, Los Angeles, Signal 10-11.” (FCC Frequency Identifier.)

“Los Angeles, 15-60 Mary, my pleasure. Los Angeles, 15-60 Mary, Signal 10-11, KA4993.”

Just another day where the rubber meets the road. Pun intended.

Remember When: Dispatchers...gifts from Heaven.

Dispatchers…gifts from Heaven. (The representation in the above photo of a headset...it is actually a Halo). On this particular day the Motor Officer was working a section of freeway he hadn’t worked in several years. Short staffed the beat assignments were made based on traffic volume and motorist safety so the confines of very familiar territory was distant. It was early in the shift and traffic was still light and moving at freeway speeds. While on patrol he encountered a stalled vehicle in the center divider. It was a late model Corvette, not a vehicle one usually encounters disabled. As he turned on his rear flashers and got off his motor to check with the driver he informed his Dispatcher of his location and circumstance. The driver of the Vette got out and walked back to the Officer and his motorcycle.

“L.A. 15-6-2 Mary, 97 (arrived at) with disabled vehicle, center divider, E/B 10 at Central.”

The Dispatcher calmly responded.

“6-2 Mary, 10-4 (message received.) Be advised there is no center divider there. You are in the fast lane.”

The Officer quickly got back on his motor, apparently parked in the fast lane, or Number 1 lane of a five lane section of freeway, in on one of the busiest freeways in Los Angeles. He instructed the driver of the Corvette to get on his motor, sit on top of the motorcycle’s radio box and hang on. The driver quickly complied. It would be revealed later the driver feared for his life based on the obvious anxiety and demeanor of the Officer’s tone had he not followed the demanding instructions.

Quickly the Officer activated his Emergency lights, cleared the lanes to his right and headed for the safety of the freeway’s right shoulder, one that did exist. They did make it to the safety of the shoulder…but not before the Corvette was struck by another vehicle at full speed and basically disintegrated before its owner’s eyes.

More calmly now the Officer regained his own composer. Momentarily tried to calm the owner at the total loss of his dream car, now in pieces, and then relayed to his Dispatcher.

“L.A., 15 6-2 Mary, be advised I’m 97 safely on the right shoulder with the driver. Thank you! Roll Paramedics, two 11-85’s (tow trucks) and a unit for traffic assist to the Number 1 Lane, I-10 E/B at Central Ave. Thank you! Have them bring in a traffic break.” (The unit will slow down all traffic as they approach the accident scene.)

“15-6-2 Mary…10-4, You're welcome."

“L.A., 15 6-2 Mary…Thank you. Flowers or Bourbon?

Did I mention Dispatchers are gifts from Heaven?

Remember When

Remember When: A Simple Tire Change

Every Officer has his pet peeves or functions he/she just wouldn’t do. Some would never ride Motors, some would never work in a desert area, some the mountains, some wouldn’t write a speed violation unless at least 10 MPH over the limit…it’s a long list. We all ate donuts. This Officer would not change tires. He would call for a tow service, have his dispatch (no cell phones yet) call a family member or friend for assistance or provide safety by watching oncoming traffic while the motorist changed their own tire. On this Summer Day while working the Harbor Freeway in Los Angeles he came upon a female motorist with a flat tire on the right shoulder. He informed his Dispatcher of his location and would advise further. When he got up to the vehicle, he immediately recognized the lone female occupant. Mainly due to the popular TV show, That’s Incredible, hosted by Fran Tarkenton, John Davidson and the driver, Cathy Lee Crosby. To say she was one of exceptional beauty would then and more years ahead be an understatement. The Officer and Ms. Crosby, who was in an extreme hurry, it is L.A. remember, didn’t have time to wait for the tow truck from AAA and the Officer was not about to let her change her own tire. She was very nicely dressed and on her way to something important, it is L.A. remember. Not to mention getting out of her car and being as recognizable as she was would have caused at least a half dozen accidents. The Officer knowing, he wasn’t going to change the tire, returned to his motor, reached for his radio mike and with authority,

“L.A. 5-2 Mary, be advised I’m with Cathy Lee Crosby, S/B south of 11th Street on the right shoulder. Her vehicle has a flat and is going to need assistance changing the tire…stand by.”

The Officer allowed for about a 30 second pause.

“L.A. 5-2 Mary, let me check and see who she would like to call.”

“5-2 Mary, L.A. standing by.”

Within the next minute or two there were at least three other CHP Units at the scene and moving into action jacking up the vehicle, taking off the defective tire and preparing the spare. Looked like a scene from a NASCAR race.

“L.A. 5-2 Mary, be advised the situation has been handled and Ms. Crosby should be on the road in no time. Show me 10-98 (Assignment completed) and in route to the office.”

“5-2 Mary, L.A. 10-4 in route to the office.”

It is all relative.

  It is all relative.

It all started on a trip to the supermarket in 1967. There was no intent, I most certainly can’t explain how my brain works. We were newly wed, and shopping together was as new as sharing the same bathroom, cooking for two, and formulating which side of the bed was mine and when and where it was appropriate to cross the invisible barrier.

Shopping together was new…as was the cost of goods. I had for the most part been taken care of by parents until joining the Marine Corps at 17 and leaving home. The cost of staples, you know like food, rested with my parents. With Mom and Dad and four brothers it would be sometime before I realized how well they managed. Then as a Marine the Corps furnished me with just about everything I needed and there was always a PX close by to get essentials, geedunk, cigs, you know necessities, using the funds from my exorbitant salary of $115.00 that came like clockwork every two weeks.

Back to the supermarket…As we took items from the cart and put them on the counter for the clerk to ring up while vocally reporting each items price, I tracked the number of items and the total as the sale concluded.  Regardless of the item or pricing, the sales total in 1967 tabulated that for each item we spent was $.50 per item. It would become how we budgeted for our trips to the supermarket. For the last 25 years that responsibility has rested on my shoulders and for the last 57 years that is how I have calculated the budget for the trips to the supermarket. Back then if we had $50 for groceries, we could shop for 100 items, whether steak and eggs or M&M’s or a $.05 candy bar or a pack of chewing gum. I did freak out when we bought a pair of la Cross toenail clippers…they were pushing $4.00 They are still in use today and rest in the Master Bath’s Medicine Cabinet. Some items are necessary and need to be considered an investment.

That was then…since then…that per item total as inflated like my waist and weight. Not that either of those two things relate to anything other than gravity. I weigh in at three pounds more than our first shopping trip together in 1967…but, according to a near sited nurse I’m 2” shorter with a waist 4” larger…gravity. Today the budget allows for 50 items and needs not to exceed $200.00. So yesterday was a good day. Forty items at $175.00. Or $4.375 per item.

Like I said, it is all relative. Federally the minimum wage then was $1.40. Now it is $7.25. Other words a 417% increase in minimum wage. Using our 1967 estimate of fifty cents per item and comparing it to yesterday's $4.37 per item, the percentage difference is a 774% increase in the cost of those goods. See the problem.

Now, not everyone is stuck at $7.25 per hour, most states have minimum wage requirements that exceed the feds. But just to keep up at the grocery store one needs a tad more than $12.00 per hour. Throw in electricity, rent or a house payment, insurance, fuel, vehicle payments, other necessary utilities and medical costs…well Okay if you flip burgers in California. Considering that the $20 per hour positions are being eliminated faster than a qualifying lap at a NASCAR event, you might, slim might, be able to keep up.

Why have I brought this up. Our regulated income has increased about 10% over the last three and a half years. In December of 2020 our cost of goods at check out was $3.10 per item. The same $200.00 budget allowed for 64 items. The difference is a shade over 40% increase to the cost of supermarket goods. In total when you experience this kind of crunch, and I can’t image a family of four or more, there is just the two of us, I have no concept of some politician, any politician spewing the bullshit that our economy is stronger, improving daily, better than it has ever been and Bidenomics is working. Their lips are moving, and they are not disseminating misinformation, disinformation or any form of substantiated facts. They are lying, out and out lying, Nothing more, nothing less.

I’m sorry, if you vote, by mail or in person, if you vote for more of the same because you don’t like someone…you aren’t part of the problem. You are the problem. If we are in fact presented with the apparent two choices, both of which have track records and you choose 2021-2025 over 2017-2021 you’ve lost touch, complete touch with reality…you see, it is all relative.

"Working Girl"

“Working Girl”

Yesterday I stopped working on the current quilts that were loaded on our Longarm Machine. Both quilts are destined for “Quilts for Kids” with no time frame to complete. So, I stopped earlier than usual in my daily routine.

I plopped myself in the almighty throne, grabbed the remote and started the search through a myriad of streaming services and channel selections in hope of finding a little entertainment, yet viewed or long since viewed. What came up was an all time fav chick flick. “Working Girl.” With a great script, acting on the part of Weaver, Griffith, Ford, and the illustrious Joan Cusack. Not to mention Alec Baldwin long before his incompetent handling of props.

What I wasn’t prepared for was the time frame of the story and the location. Set in the late 1980’s, in the Second Wave,1963 – 1980’s, of the Feminist Movement as it is referred to frequently as having Four Waves, taking place in New York.  We are apparently in the Forth Wave that began followed the 90’s. Who knew?

Anyway, the opening credits, day and night footage during the movie and during the closing and running of the credits from Gaffer’s to Actors Staffers was a devastating reminder of the event that changed our Republic forever. The Twin Towers loomed over the New York Skyline just as the sun looms over the dawn of a new day. There are few things in the aftermath of that attack, orchestrated by nothing other than evil, sadistic and inhumane class of people, could damage this Republic more. We thought then. For a moment we were all brought together again. With the latest separation being people protesting in the streets, supporting an evil and sinister group of sadistic low life’s and chanting “Death to America” on American soil…the togetherness we had for that moment is most certainly gone. One of our strongest allies is brutally and inhumanely attacked, individuals slaughtered and taken hostage and we have seated elected officials supporting that evil.

It is sad that in many cases our reaction obscures those guilty. Suddenly all of Islam and or those of the Muslim faith were to blame. We have a history of persecution, internment, racial bias, and blaming all for the actions of a few on the many. In this case 19 individuals under the directives of al-Qaeda. As with many of our mistakes, the apologies are shallow. Not all of the Muslim Faith, of Japanese Heritage, Hispanic Immigrants, Irish Immigrants or any other classification, whether ethnic, religious, color of skin or country of origin are to be blamed for the actions of a few. But we were scared. So Turban wearing Sikhs, those that “looked” like a Muslim, easily confused with a darker shade of light skin or a pale shade of dark skin were pointed at and accused when there was no basis for any of these accusations. Like I said, we were scared. This had not happened on American Protected soil since Pearl Harbor. As time passed, we made many changes to our days, the way we travel and how we would forever approach the day with a new caution, and the fear somewhat subsided. For a moment, we never thought we would be that scared again. We were wrong.

Over the last three and a half years, if you have one ounce of basic sense, taken note of what has and is happening at the highest levels of our government…you need to be scared…more than on 9/12/2001 and beyond and one must be prepared now as well as aware of the dangers that have been placed upon our shoulders by incompetence and greed for personal gain and power.  The enemy May not be foreign but domestic. There seems to be some truth to this.

"We do not have to invade the United States, we will destroy you from within." Nikita Khrushchev. It appears he knew something we didn't.

Millions of unknowns have flooded our cities from coast to coast. Under the open arms policies of the current administration. Biden and those pulling his strings…for what appears, not much longer, has made our country more vulnerable today than ever before. Remember, and never forget, it took 19 individuals on American soil to carry out 9/11.

Currently, with only an illiterate grouping of progressive left, believe that our most dangerous enemy is China. If so, and not Russia, it is estimated that between 25,000 and 30,000 Chinese nationals have entered our country illegally. Estimated, not know to be fact, 80% are military aged men. So, using our standard as a guide. Brigade, Regiment, Battalion, Company, Platoon, Squad, etc…How many Brigades (+/- 4,400) of military aged men from China now run amok on our soil. I’m gonna go out on a limb here. Five or so brigades is a tad more than19 individual terrorists. Not counting how many from al-Qaeda, ISIS, Taliban (well equipped I might add), or any other American hating group that under the incompetence of the current administration have with little or no effort crossed our borders that on an hourly basis is unprotected.

It was what I would call sobering moments when the Twin Towers were viewed again with awe across the New York skyline as Tess McGill. during the Second Wave of feminism. Mischievously and cleverly clawed her way up in the corporate world of the late 80’s. Yet again Joan Cusack adapting to character regardless of the demands. Her list of accomplished roles is a long list, but neither Working Girl, In & Out or Rosalie Mullins in School of Rock would be as memorable. Without her, watching Working Girl would be like watching Lethal Weapon Sequels, Goodfellas or My Cousin Vinny without Joe Pesci.

Never Forget.

Conspiracy Theory...Maybe.

I’ve spent quite a few hours researching and online investigating to find out what Trump hasn’t been accused of. Two things come to mind. I'm sure they will find more before November 5. They have to, nothing so far has worked. But then the Democrats are in charge and that is par for the course.

One: Jury Tampering. There is a social media post alleged to have come from a ‘cousin’ of one of the Hush Money jurors…thanking the jury for finding President Trump guilty on all 34 counts…before deliberations had ended. Easily vacating the verdict at the Appellate level. The mainstream has been quiet so one can only assume evidence is being fraudulently manipulated to tie it to President Trump…taking the heat off of the corrupt and incompetent Judge. Would it be a surprise if it went farther up the ladder? Biden is not the only puppet.

Two: If I were into conspiracy theories this would be at the top of my list.

The two thousand mules will be activated, yet again. The only major difference. Video cameras, microphones, eyewitnesses and an abundance of unidentifiable individuals will be captured on video and audio avenues stuffing ballots and submitting fraudulent ballots by mail…with all of the mysterious votes being cast for President Trump. The election will be challenged. Marshall Law will be declared, and Biden will plagiarize, he is well known for that, from Zelenskyy’s Play Book and the elections will be placed on hold until the Democratic Party is guaranteed a victory.

Zelenskyy and Biden…two peas in a pod…One has no idea how to dress in a professional and respectful manner. The other has to be dressed.

The Rage has passed...

Really, undecided. I am a registered Independent. I have voted in every National Election since 1972, except in 2020, we had moved from VA, and could not meet registration requirements in MD in our temporary residence time frame. Not that it would have made a difference considering the Democratic Party got into the breeding and the raising of Mules. As soon as we established requirements in PA, our new home, we again registered our Independent status. We have both voted Democrat, Republican and Independent. It is not the party, it is who will do the best following the Rule of Law and our Constitution to provide sound, honest and intelligent leadership to the American citizenry. It appears, based on the last several election cycles, they are not elected by Democratic voters. Many actually alive…at least allegedly so.

In my 77 years as an American citizen, a veteran, retired law enforcement officer, a husband, father, brother and Marine would I have ever guessed that our Republic could even remotely be associated with fascism, communism, tyrannical leadership, weaponized justice systems at all levels of government, federal, state and local.  Never would I have, not for one micro of a second, believed that our heads of state and elected officials would be under the control of criminals and be criminals. I do not believe labelling many of them the Biden Crime Family is a stretch. Now I’m in a long line to vote for, although wrongly convicted, a felon. Saddened to have lived to see such a corrupt and conflicted judge, a partisan and nowhere close to a “peer” of President Trumps hand down that conviction. But, overjoyed, and hopeful of course, that I will live long enough to cast a vote and make all of this a part of history. History more dark, biased, corrupt, criminal, inhumane, greedy, and disrespectful of our Constitution than any other span of time during our Republics existence. Any other time!

Just so we are clear. It is not the jury’s fault. They were doing what they were hired for. Please, keep your eye on them. One, if not more, is going to start living above their means once they have been chosen as lottery winners or beneficiaries of long, long lost Uncle or Aunt. Maybe, just maybe one of them took some copious notes and will get a really good book deal. Or, during the long break before deliberation they were visited by some very unsavory individuals with pictures of their kids or close family members. Like Covid 19 came from bats…this is my conspiracy theory.

It really isn’t Biden’s fault either. He no longer has the mental capability to formulate anything this complex. Not that what he had before dementia was much better. He can walk away and glance back at the press and get his shit eating grin broadcast nationwide. On anyone else’s face it would be an admission of guilt. On his it was "I know who did it but I’m not telling." I’m guessing here. If he did rat out who is responsible, it would probably be someone that passed away in the 20th Century. But just like Howdy Doody someone is pulling the strings. Or maybe like Kermit and Miss Piggy someone has their hand stuck up his butt so far it makes him mumble. He does mumble a lot.

So, for now we will move on. We go about our daily lives, doing what we can with what we have to work with. Bite our tongues, grit our teeth each time we are exposed to The View, elected democrats, those that falsely claim to be journalists on major networks, CNN, MSNBC and in some cases FOX. We will continue to tolerate the likes of AOC and the other Squad Members…including False Alarm Bowman. Have mouthwash ready when we throw up in our mouths hearing Schumer, Warren, Pelosi, Schiff, or anyone of the many incompetents elected by a group of incompetents that represent the worst of the worst.

I have never, not ever, not once donated to a political candidate. Nor have I ever believed that this country would be overrun by illegals, watched an incompetent President of the United States spew out lie after lie, mumble through gaffe after gaffe or seen inflation that has had this effect on our incomes. But there is one thing you can always count on…change.

In the meantime, can someone go over to SCOTUS and let them know they need to take some serious actions before July 11, 2024. This is serious.
